Blood Cell Storage, Inc. (BCSI), incorporated in Delaware in November 1999, is an international medical device company based out of Seattle, Washington, with European operations based in The Netherlands.
We are dedicated to non-invasive methods to easily and accurately determine platelet quality.
Our company’s initial product is designed to non-invasively measure the pH of platelet products and is currently being introduced into the European blood bank industry. The platelet storage bag is sterile and pH levels can be measured any time during storage or anywhere along the collection/distribution chain.
All of BCSI’s manufacturing facilities are ISO certified and our products have been granted CE Mark approval.
BCSI is a corporate member of the Dutch Society for Blood Transfusions, American Association of Blood Banks, Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association, and has research associations with the University of Washington, Penn State, Puget Sound Blood Center, Canadian Blood Services, Sanquin, and Seattle Biomedical Research Institute. |
